Enable Group Messaging

Members in a group can interact with each other when Group messaging is turned on. Teachers can enable this when they are creating a group within their courses. To turn on Group messaging within a group:

1. Go to your course, click the cog icon  on the top-right corner and click More.

2. Click on the Users tab.

3. Click on the Groups link.

4. Select a group for which you want the messaging feature enabled.

5. Click the Edit group settings button.

6. Select Yes in the Group messaging option’s drop-down box then click Save changes.

7. When the members in a group login, they will now be able to chat within their group in their Messages panel.
