UP Tacloban hosts French Ambassador

UP Visayas Tacloban College (UPVTC) hosted a lunch reception on 3 March 2022 for French Ambassador Michèle Boccoz. UP Visayas (UPV) Chancellor Clement Camposano and UP Tacloban Dean Patricia Arinto welcomed the Ambassador who was accompanied by the French Embassy’s Political Counsellor Thomas Rollet.
 
Opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration between French higher education institutions and UP Visayas were discussed during the short meeting, which was held at the UPVTC Dean’s Conference Room.
 
Also present at the meeting were UPV Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Philip Ian Padilla,
UPV Vice Chancellor for Administration John Lorenz Belanio, UPVTC Associate Dean Arvin De Veyra, and UPVTC College Secretary Irma Tan. Other UPVTC officials present were Division of Humanities Chairperson Jessa Amarille, Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Chairperson Eulito Casas, Jr., Division of Social Sciences Chairperson Ruth Edisel Rylle Sadian-Cercado, Student Affairs Coordinator Ervina Espina, Leyte-Samar Heritage Center Director Antonino De Veyra, and Regional Environmental Information Systems Administrator Victor Romero II. The Division of Management was represented by Prof. Shirley Maraya.
