Using the Messaging System

The messaging system

The VLE has a built-in messaging system. It can be used to send messages to your classmates and teachers directly in the VLE. If enabled by your teacher in a course, you can also send messages to members of your groups (if any).

Accessing the messaging system

You can access the messaging system either by clicking on the message icon to toggle the messaging drawer or by clicking Messages in the drop-down menu at the top-right corner.

The messaging system is divided into three parts, Starred messages, Group messages, and Private messages.

  • The Starred messages section contains messages that you starred. It also contains your personal space for adding draft messages, links, and notes for later use.
