Feedback Studio

The Feedback Studio is a space where you can give feedback and grade student submissions.

The Feedback Studio contains functionalities which you can explore:

  • At the top of the Feedback Studio, you can give a grade to the submission and navigate to other students’ submissions (if any). There is also a help button which you can click if you want additional help. The student’s name and submission title is also displayed here.
  • At the center of the Feedback Studio (or within the document itself), you can click or highlight words to add a QuickMark, comment, inline text, or strike bar. Once added, you can move, edit, or delete them.
  • At the bottom of the Feedback Studio, you can see which page of the submission you are on, the word count of the submission, change the resolution, and zoom the page.
  • At the right side of the Feedback Studio, there are buttons which you can use to give feedback to the submission and access similarity tools.
    • The Layers button   lets you see and control which layers are currently active.
    • The Instructor feedback layer allows you to give and add QuickMarks and Feedback summary   and use a Rubric .
    • The Similarity layer provides tools which you can use to check the originality of the submission.
    • The Grammar tools layer lets you see the results generated by the e-rater. This will be visible only in the assignment and forum activities which use the Turnitin plagiarism plugin and if it is enabled in the settings of the said activities.
    • The Download button downloads the student’s submission.
    • The  Submission Information button   displays details pertaining to the submission.
