The UP System has established Kaagapay sa Pag-aaral, a fundraising and resource generation campaign to help provide computers and internet connectivity to financially-challenged students in the different UP constituent universities (CUs).
URUGUP han Pag-aram is the local counterpart of the UP System’s Kaagapay sa Pag-aaral program. The project aims to raise funds to provide “techpacks” for at least 250 UP Tacloban students who need a personal computer and access to the internet for remote learning. The project was first launched as part of the 47th founding anniversary of the College in May 2020 as the URUGUP Student TechPack Fund Drive. It is complemented by the recently announced Iskompyuter Drive of UP Visayas and is now under the Kaagapay sa Pag-aaral banner.
